This was a grand gathering of XKs and E-Types and other Classics in historic Oxford. It was to welcome David Vincent (XK150) and Craig Gardner (E-Type) who were visiting all 61 British Cities in two weeks to raise money for charity.
Officially there are 61 Cities in mainland Britain and the planned route around them is about 3,000 mls. Saturday 5th June was the day they were in Oxford. Route map.
The charities being supported are:
Cancer Research UK and
Down's Syndrome Association.
More specifically for our event in Oxford, the contributions were to their local equivalents:
Churchill Partnership and
Down's Syndrome Oxford.
Please visit their web site and make a donation online.

Alanna's Story
[Eventually] a Doctor came into the room ... He looked at me and said "We think that the baby has Down's Syndrome". As time went on ... I went into major depression ... I was in a very dark place ..."
"... if there were more, easily accessible support groups; more information about people who can help; or even something for people who just want someone to talk to, we would not have had to go through what we did." Read more...
