This is about the best day of the season! However, this year there was an entry fee of £5 per classic vehicle, as a donation to the Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance. The reason for the charge was to try to maintain the donation to charity, despite the cost of hiring the airfield increasing from £400 to £7000! The fee included entry for a classic vehicle & one passenger.
JEC Raffle Car - XK150
The car is a beautiful blue 1959 3.4 litre XK150 fhc which has had a three year restoration. It will only be available until the XK60 celebrations in August, not until October as in previous years, so get your tickets now! Raffle tickets are £1 each - a book of five for £5.

Classics will enter the Airfield from the North this year (not the South as previously). The southern entrance will be used by the general public. We are requested to be there by 09.45!
From the North, or North Oxford
Leave the A34 at Botley and follow the A420 Dual Carriageway, West for 2.2 miles. Take the second exit at Cumnor and follow the B4017 (Cumnor Road) South through Wooton. After another 2.2 miles (and the speed camera) turn Right into Honeybottom Lane opposite the garage (Harley Davidson / Seat). After 0.8 mile the North entrance to the airfield is on the Left hand side. This route should avoid the general public making their way to the South entrance. Please do not approach from the West through Cothill village.
From the South, or South Oxford
Leave the A34 at Hinksey. Travel West up Hinksey Hill, continue along Foxcombe Road and Fox Lane. After 2.3 miles you will reach the B4017 by the garage (Harley Davidson / Seat). Go straight across the staggered crossroads into Honeybottom Lane. After 0.8 mile the North entrance to the airfield is on the Left hand side. This route should avoid the general public making their way to the South entrance. Please do not approach from the West through Cothill village.
